Attendance in the e.Report Designer Professional course, Java programming experience and practical understanding of XML, DHTML and HTTP processing

Course Description:
This advanced hands-on workshop teaches experienced developers to rapidly build and deploy web services applications using a standard, SOAP-based development environment. Students must be experienced Java programmers with practical understanding of the Actuate e.Reporting System, XML, DHTML, and HTTP processing.

Each student receives a workbook, which functions as a detailed reference guide once the class is completed.

Topics:

- Generating required code libraries from Actuate Web Service Description Language (WSDL) documents
- Writing programs to perform Actuate iServer operations within an HTTP-based network
- Monitoring the XML-based, SOAP messages transmitted between client applications and Actuate iServer
